Description

This is a similar hook pattern to the oygui, varing in shape at the bottom of the shank and make it ideal for small soft baits like crab flesh & prawn.the hook point is slightly turned to avoid damage that can occure when fishing over rocks and shingle but has a superb hook hold with a fine barb on the internal angle. The hook allows for fine bait presentation and the needlepoint sharpness is superb on such a lightweight hook.

These superb little hooks are perfect for fishing very fine delicate baits for mid water species like Mackerel, Garfish, Bream and small fish off the bottom. This pattern was indeed used by England Internationals in Portugal when fishing for large Bream. They are very light weight and have an extremely fine and sharp point. They are made of fine gauge carbon and for such a light hook they are incredibly strong, even when fighting gilt head bream. The flattened forged spade is really strong and has good hold for your snelling.
